PERSONALITY:
Nate is something like someone who speaks poor English. It's hard to really understand him. He plays stupid, but then he has moments where his smarts shine through... and he goes right back to being stupid to cover up his slip. He can care about people, but tends not to, just to keep himself detached. He's a flirt, and a womanizer, except with girls he actually has an interest in. One thing that's constant though is that he's very, very cocky. He's gorgeous, he's talented, he's rich, and he knows it.
Despite that, he gets perfect grades, has an active extracurricular life, and does his best to rein himself in to be the diplomat his parents expect him to be. He can be defiant, or sassy, but generally in classes he's well-behaved. He doesn't particularly enjoy sports, or even most clubs, but when it comes to singing, he's actually happy.

HISTORY:
Nate was born in Beverly Hills and lived there for a few years of his life. When he was four, his parents moved him to New York, and he started school there. Sometime after he turned six, though, they moved the family to England, where he's lived since. Nothing really eventful ever happened, aside from receiving his acceptance letter to Hogwarts.
He did learn at a young age that he could sing, and he was always happier doing that than anything else. His parents raised him to be prim and proper, like his sister, but from the beginning he was more interested in being a rockstar. Though their influence has always been strong, Nate was always adamant about being himself instead of being what they wanted him to be.
His playing dumb started at a young age, in an attempt to discourage his parents from trying to make him a mini-me to his father, and it just stuck.
