PERSONALITY:
Lily is very much like her mother, though does take quite a bit after her father. She easily switches emotions, which sometimes can cause her to be emotionally unstable. Though, most of the time she keeps them under control. Her mind set is more like her fathers, she is very open minded & optimistic. This means that she easily makes friends, most of them being true friends. She can sometimes overreact to things, too. For example, when her brothers both when off to hogwarts & she had to wait that made her extremely jealous of them. Though, she was extremely excited & joyful when her letter eventually did come.
Her life almost entirely revolves around magic. She loves it, though she loves her family more. She is quite family orientated & loves spending time with them. The stories her mother & father tell her are amazing, even now she's older. That's made her quite a good speaker, especially in public. It doesn't make her outgoing though, she's actually quite shy.
Generally, Lily is a very sweet charismatic girl.
Sometimes she can show her bitchy side, even when she looks innocent. Usually, this side of her is hidden but if you cross her you'll know about it. Childhood
Lily was the last born of the three Potter children. This makes her Harry & Ginny's youngest child, which doesn't please her. Her name was a mixture of Harry's mothers name - Lily - & her own godmothers name - Luna. So, as she was growing up she was very close to all of her close & extended family. She spent most of her time around them from when she was very little & loved playing with her cousins & brother. Her childhood was very friendly & playful, bust very family orientated as well.
Young Years
Lily was a very content child, she had everything she could ever wish for. A loving family, true friends & an amazing future already planned out. Though, when her oldest brother - James - received his letter inviting him to study at Hogwarts school of witchcraft & wizardry, her jealousy began to emerge. After that, Albus received his invitation & that's when her jealousy really showed. Lily was the youngest & wanted to go to Hogwarts so badly. It was horrible watching her brothers leave for school & knowing she had to wait one more year before she could join them. Really, to her it was like torture.
Invitation
Another year past & as soon as her 11th birthday came she was over the moon. The torturous year of waiting was finally over! She knew that she'd now be expecting a letter from Hogwarts, inviting her to study there. So, when she did it didn't come as much of a surprise. Though, she was so excited she could've burst. The whole thought of her first year there was too much. She'd listened intently to every story her parent's had told her about that school & every piece of information they'd given her. She was so happy & she couldn't wait to get on that train.
Preparation
As she prepared herself as much as she could for the first year ahead, she was just too excited. She was glad that she could finally escape the hell whole which had been muggle school & go to Hogwarts! This was like a whole new start & she wanted it to be. The natural ginger died her hair a deep chocolate brown & began stocking up on everything she needed. Lily didn't want to change who she was, but she wanted to look the part so she could feel the part.
Hogwarts
Her first years at Hogwarts were better then she could've ever imagined. The new brunette had fit right in, making many friends. Though, you don't get many friends without making some enemies & believe me, she made a lot of enemies as well. She discovered herself a bit more at Hogwarts as well, though. Lily found out how much independence she'd actually been lacking & how much she hadn't knew before she'd arrived. The brunette also discovered her wit for spells. She was quite good at them & could perform them quite easily. That pleased both her & her parents, but she also knew not to boast or be a snob. Instead, she helped her friends with their own spells. To some she became like a teacher, though to most she became their friend.

Lily woke up, her head ached from how much reading she had done the day before. The brunette had tried to prepare herself as much as possible for her first year at Hogwarts. Though, if she was honest, she'd probably over prepared herself. It was after all better to be safe then sorry, right? She pushed all of the books off her bed, watching them fall & hitting the floor. It created a loud 'thump' that echoed around her small bedroom, touching every wall. She didn't know if the rest of her family was awake yet, but if they had been asleep that bang would've woken them up for sure.
So, she pushed herself up into a sitting position, which was much more comfortable then the awkward lying one she'd been in. Her mind traveled as she poked her legs out from under the covers & shoved her cold feet into the inviting warmth of her fluffy slippers. Slowly, Lily pushed herself to her feet making sure she didn't step on any of the books which were scattered on the floor. The brunette then began making her way across the oak floor of her room, toward the door which was painted white & stood out against her pale purple walls. Pushing it open & making her way downstairs, with a soft, sleepy smile upon her face.
As she arrived downstairs her eyes scanned the rooms, by the looks of it she'd woken up early. No one was in site, not even her parents. The brunette yawned, wandering over to the windows & pulling open the curtains. She'd rather do it this way then look at a clock, it was a lot more natural. As she peered out of the small window, she saw the early morning sun rising above the clouds. Lily sighed, she was up early. Then, she made her way to the kitchen were she began making breakfast for the rest of her family who she knew would soon be awake.
