It was official. Victoire Appoline Weasley hated the Hospital Wing. There was just something about it, maybe it was the small beds pushed together in a rather small space, with only a thin curtain available for privacy. Or maybe it was the whole being around sick people thing that turned her off from the place. Whatever the reason was, she wouldn't be here willingly. Though unfortunately she really had no other choice. Victoire sad down gingerly on one of the beds closest to the entrance, wincing as she bumped her arm around, shooting a flash of pain up the entire thing. It didn't feel broken...but definitely sore. Maybe even dislocated, but there was no way in hell that she trusted herself to simply go through the rest of the day without getting it checked out.
With a heavy sigh, the blonde looked around the infirmary, her eyes following the matron as she hurried away from her to tend to another patient. Her bright blue eyes bounced around the place, looking over all the bed and the students which occupied some, before finally settling over on the window that she knew overlooked the Quidditch pitch. The bright sun streaming through it seemed to mock her, laughing at the fact that she couldn't enjoy the weather and was instead stuck inside the sick person haven. Not that she'd really want to go back to the Quidditch pitch any time soon, especially considering that's where she'd gotten injured in the first place. Gingerly testing her arm, Victoire winced once more as she tentatively moved it before stilling her motions as the pain sparked through her limb.
Nope, she definitely didn't want to go through the rest of the day without getting her arm checked out. Letting another sigh escape past her lips, she tried to make herself comfortable on the bed before focusing her attention once more on the window leading to the outside world. The glass was pushed open, and she could hear the occasional laugh from one of the students outside come up through the window. It was almost like the universe was mocking her, and she didn't like it one bit. Looking around, Victoire frowned. Where the hell was the matriarch? Wasn't it their job to tend to a patient that needed healing? Well, she did! Huffing in exasperation, she crossed her arms before letting out a hiss against the pain. Stupid bludgers.

Rose happily skipped down the hall, a thick-paged book clutched tightly to her chest as she neared one of the numerous staircases to take her to the library. She had already finished it - no surprise there, honestly. Yet it had taken her a little longer than she had originally planned. The reason may or may not have been a distraction in the form of a guy that she was meeting in secret. And the mentioned secret boy may or may not have been the son of a certain enemy of her father's. Either way, she was determined to keep others from knowing about their... meetings for as long as possible.
The ginger Gryffindor's fiery red hair was a bit messed up as she continued to walk. Rose hadn't fixed her hair after leaving her meeting with the secret boy of hers. She turned the corner, instinctively glancing into the Hospital Wing for whatever reason. She always had been in the habit of looking into rooms as she passed them, the Hospital Wing being of no exception.
When she spotted the familiar blonde hair, she stopped her journey to the library and instead ventured into the Hospital Wing. Rose quickly made her way over to her beautiful cousin, still tightly clutching the book to her chest.
Victoire!
she gasped, her hazel eyes wide and glowing dimly with a mixture of fear, shock, and worry. What happened? Are you alright? Rose Weasley sat down on the foot of the bed quickly, examining her cousin carefully. The hospital wing was duller than she had originally thought, and Victoire had to bite back a groan multiple times as she listened to the echoing groans of the students around her. Chances were that they were here for reasons more serious than taking a bludger to the arm, but she was quickly growing impatient with the healer that was busy with the rest of the students. They were here before she was, she knew, and one of them had even taking to breaking out in boils, but the patient had always been a virtue that the blonde had never really possessed. Looking around the room for something to distract herself with, her eyes settled on a flash of bright ginger hair that bounded into the room before taking a seat on the bed next to her.
"Rosie!" she cried in excitement at having found someone that could bring her out of her boredom, though quickly dropping her voice as she was shushed with a stern look from one of the healers present. "How are you? Come, keep me company!" she said enthusiastically in a quiet voice as she wrapped her good arm around her cousin before listening to her worried tone and questions. Dropping her gaze to her arm sitting beside her, she shrugged one shoulder before explaining. "Some of your Quidditch buddies," she didn't actually even know which house they were in, but she hadn't spotted Blaine or Kurt, so maybe it wasn't Gryffindor's players, "Were practicing with some enchanted quaffles and some bludgers and, well, I guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time." she explained in a sheepish tone.
Explaining how she landed in the Hospital wing to someone else, Victoire realized how the words sounded as they tumbled out of her mouth. She should have probably known better than wander around the Quidditch Pitch as a way to get to the courtyards, especially when there were people practicing. She'd never even liked the sport anyways, much less understood it. But the walk always made her feel relaxed, and she had always loved taking walks close to dusk. She never quite broke curfew, but a couple of times she'd come close to it. Turning her attention towards Rose, the blonde quickly looked over her cousin as she took in the thick paged book held in her hands. Leave it to Rose to carry around a book, most likely some muggle story or something from the library. But she didn't comment, instead giving her cousin a grin. "So what are you up to, love? I know you didn't come to visit little ol' me in the infirmary, as much as I like the idea of your company."

The ginger-haired Gryffindor couldn't help but crack a smile at her cousin's excitement to see her. Her hazel eyes drifted over her cousins' bad arm, wincing a bit.
Quidditch buddies, you say? she murmured, biting her lower lip as she thought of who it could possibly be. Was it Gryffindor? Because, you know, every Qudditch player that's not on the Gryffindor House team is an enemy, she joked lightly, eyes glowing with humor. But still, Victorie, you know that the sport is dangerous... Why were you down there in the first place?
Rose then realized that she hadn't fixed her hair yet after her little quote-unquote "meeting" before she had come here. She put the book by her side and quickly ran her fingers through her straight fiery locks, trying to make them lay flat again. Embarrassment from the situation caused her ears to go pink before the rest of her pale face; damn the Weasley blush she had inherited. She gave her blonde cousin a sheepishly toothy grin before returning her hands to the thick book and putting it in her lap.
I was just on my way to return this book to the library... I kept it a little longer than I had originally planned, she explained, only meeting Victoire's eyes for a moment before drawing them back to the book she held in her lap. But I passed the Hospital Wing and I saw you in here, so I figured I would come and figure out what had happened before the rest of our family. She gave a small chuckle, unconsciously licking her soft lips.

Tossing her hair over her shoulder, Victoire was surprised that she somehow managed to not jostle her injured arm. Normally she was quite a klutz and managed to injure herself at any opportunity given. Seeing Rose's wince from the corner of her eye, she looked down at her arm before gripping it lightly in her good hand. It didn't hurt so much now, a faint numb feeling beginning to replace the pain from earlier. Was that a good or bad thing? Maybe she really did need to get it checked soon. "It's not so bad anymore," she assured Rose, knowing how much of a motherly figure her cousin could be, "I don't think it's broken, so I don't think too much damage was done." At least, nothing that the healer couldn't fix up quickly.
Turning her full attention to Rose, Victoire grinned as she listened to her speak. "Well, maybe. They could have definitely been from a different team than Gryffindor; it wasn't something I was really paying attention too," she said in the same teasing voice as the ginger, frowning slightly at her question. Sure, the Quidditch pitch wasn't the safest place to walk around, especially when people were practicing, but she'd never actually had this bad of an experience before. "I was out for a walk. Like I said, just wrong place at the wrong time." the blonde replied somewhat stiffly before giving Rose a smile to say that she didn't mean to get snarky with her. Sometimes she thought it was the veela shining through at times.
Rose was talking about the book in her lap, but Victoire wasn't really listening. Instead she let her eyes sweep over Rose a couple of times with a frown on her face. There was something off about her cousin, but she couldn't quite figure it out. Nodding occasionally to at least seem like she was listening, she stared at Rose for a couple more minutes before meeting her eyes. It was then she noticed how disheveled her cousin's hair seemed, mostly brought to her attention by the ginger's attempts to smooth it down.
"You were just snogging someone, weren't you?" she exclaimed, pointing an accusing finger at Rose as her eyes widened. Victoire could recognize the symptoms, if you will, well enough. Merlin know how many times she'd had to fix her hair and make herself presentable after a snog session with someone. Ignoring the shushing and glares from both the students and faculty around her, Victoire grinned before latching on to Rose's arm with excitement reflected in her eyes. "Who is he?"

She nodded, watching her cousin toss her hair. Perfect, as usual. Her hair was never perfect; even though her hair was an almost-orange color, she still had inherited the gene for unruly hair from both of her parents - it was sometimes bushy, and the rest of the time, she couldn't force it to lay flat if she tried. Not to mention the fact that she was in Dueling Club - she was the captain, mind you - as well as a Chaser on the Gryffindor House Quidditch team. Being active most of the time did things to your hair, after all.
Well, still... I would have it checked out,
she spoke, biting the right side of her bottom lip as she thought. You never know what could be wrong with it. At least there's still bone. Remember that time that Uncle Harry told us that story? About the time one of his professors tried to mend his broken arm and instead removed the bone completely? Rose gave a small laugh, remembering the story from when they were smaller. She completely ignored the sudden attitude from her cousin, brushing it off in her head. She was part Veela, and she was in the Hospital Wing; her attitude couldn't exactly be helped at times. At Victorie's sudden accusation - which was one hundred percent correct, to say the least - she just stared at the blonde with her eyes wide and mouth open, silently stammering for something to reply with. Uh... Of... Of course not! T-That's silly, she murmured quietly. The book in her lap was suddenly very interesting, for she looked down at it and began fiddling with the corner. However, the action only made it easier for the Weasley blush she was currently wearing to be seen that it was applying more shades of pinkish-red atop of it. Why... er... Why w-would you, uh, think I was... was snogging someone? She gave an awkward little laugh, receiving eye rolls from some of the near-by patients. Rose quickly stood to leave, clutching the thick book to her chest tight enough for her knuckles to begin to whiten. Now, Victorie, is there anything I can get you from the library? The bright ginger smiled down at her cousin with a nervous expression, allowing another awkward laugh to emit from her. Smiling at Rose, Victoire looked over her cousin before going through a mental comparison of them. It was a habit of hers, though not in a negative way at all. She just liked to see the differences between herself and her cousins. Victoire had most definitely taken after her mum with her light hair and blue eyes, though there were a few traits of her father's that had managed to sneak through and shine through. They weren't always visible, but for example, when she was out in the sun for long periods of time, her freckles would come out at full force. And when she was embarrassed or angry, her face and ears would flare red quicker than she could calm herself down, definitely showing her temper. But the difference between her and Rose were quite a bit more noticeable too. Rose had definitely inherited the orangy-fire coloured hair from her father, though it came with her mother's bushiness from time to time. If she was honest, though, she loved the differences between them. Their looks seemed to match their personalities, and while they were different, they complemented each other perfectly.
Once the conversation turned back to her arm, the blonde nodded as she looked down at the limb in question before letting her eyes sweep over the infirmary once more. "That was definitely the plan," she said with a laugh before turning back to face Rose. "Things seems rather busy at the moment though, so looks like I'll be here, waiting for a while." She shrugged her good shoulder at the last part, though she wasn't thrilled about the idea at all. She winced slightly as she listened to Rose speak, remembering the story in question quite well. It seemed like it was one of Uncle Ron's favourite stories to tell when he'd had a bit too much eggnog during the Christmas times. Tapping her pointer finger against her arm, Victoire grinned, "I've gotten off lucky, then, seeing as I still have bones in my arm."
Widening her eyes for dramatic effect - when had it gone from Rose being the dramatic one, to her? - and hopping off the bed gracefully, Victoire rounded on Rose, her finger pointing at her cousin once more. There was a hint of mischief in her eyes, though mostly clouded by disbelief and glee. Sweeping her eyes over the ginger once, she clucked her tongue before shaking her head. Victoire knew when Rose was lying, since the redhead practically started stuttering over her words any time she tried. "Liar," she called the other girl's bluff playfully, narrowing her eyes on her as though to stare her into giving her an answer. When she spoke again, her voice was lower so that she wouldn't be shushed again, and the other patrons of the infirmary couldn't pick up on their conversation. The last thing they needed was rumors spreading around the school like wild fire. "Come on, ginger, tell me who he is. I know what snogging someone looks like, and you definitely look like you've been thoroughly snogged, my dear." Victoire finished, playfully jabbing her finger at Rose, wondering how long it would take for the redhead to crack and tell her. She was a Weasley, so maybe she'd have to be a bit more persistent...

Rose, her heart beating faster than a mile a minute, began to fidget with the silver, heart-shaped locket charm that hung around her neck. She always wore the same necklace; it was good luck, she supposed, or was it just a habit she had built up to now in time?
Her bright hazel eyes fluttering upwards at her blonde-haired cousin, the Gryffindor gave a sheepish little smile to Victoire. She was debating internally whether or not she should tell her who the mysterious lover boy of hers was. If Rose told her, her cousin would just have to tell someone, and that person would have to do the same, and eventually the story would be blown up and edited to the point to where, when the tale actually reached her own parents, it would be much worse than it was in reality.
Or she could simply not tell the girl in front of her. Of course, she would find out who it was eventually. Wasn't it better to hear it straight from the source than from some very unreliable source that had no idea what they were talking about? The ginger-haired girl jumped back instantly at her cousin's jabbing fingers; playing the position of Chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch House team here at Hogwarts kept her instincts in tact and her reflexes at a top-notch level.
Rose bit her lip again, looking up at the fellow Weasley. The pink-red mixed-colored blush that had covered her face now seemed to warm her entire body, making the room suddenly feel much warmer than it was. She fiddled with the silver necklace charm again, running it up and down along the length of the thin chord. Well, Rose, it's now or never, she told herself, staring back at the thick book in her lap. After all, she would rather that Victoire heard it from herself rather than someone who was an unreliable source.
Uh... It's... Erm... Scorpius... Malfoy?
she murmured softly, looking back up at her cousin with the most sheepish expression she had ever worn in her life. The ginger-haired Seventh Year groaned in defeat, burying her now-colored face in her hands with a sigh. Please, Victoire, please don't tell anyone! she begged, peeking up at the blonde through the slits between her fingers. Victoire watched as Rose fiddled with her necklace. A nervous habit of the redhead's, she knew. Narrowing her eyes on her slightly, Victoire pulled her finger back to herself as Rose curled away from it, and let her arm drop to her side. Her blonde hair fell over her shoulder as she cocked her head to the side, examining the girl in front of her. It was faint at the moment, but she could see the faint traces of a blush traveling up her neck towards her cheeks. She could practically see Rose having an internal battle with herself, and Victoire rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet to her heels as she tried to keep a smug look from her face.
Looking smug at the fact that she skills at telling if someone looked like they'd just gotten out of a snog wouldn't help her in this situation, and she knew that Rose was most likely hesitating because she was worried Victoire would run off and tell someone the gossip as soon as she got the chance. In all honesty, she was a bit hurt that her cousin would think that about her (even if she hand't said anything), but she knew there was some element of truth to the worry. Victoire knew when to keep her mouth shut about things for the most part, but there was a couple of things that she'd felt the need to tell someone about, not wanting to keep the details to herself. But she also knew from personal experience that those things spread around the school like wild fire, and within a couple of days, pretty much everyone in the school would know about them.
So, instead of pushing the subject, Victoire stopped rocking back and forth before climbing back up onto the bed. She swung her legs back and forth off the side of the bed, feeling like a giddy little girl. One of the things that most people didn't seem to know about Victoire was that she normally always felt the need to be moving. Sitting still and waiting was never something she had enjoyed, and moving got her blood circulating, as well as her endorphin's pumping. This time when she looked over at Rose, the flush that had been a barely there pink was now a vibrant light pink colour, mixed rather well with her cousin's orange-y red hair. Rose was biting her lip and practically looking around the room in worry, and Victoire knew it wouldn't be long till Rose spilled the answer.
She bit back a smug smirk and instead looked back over at Rose, quickly going through a mental list of the students Rose could be this secretive about snogging. Well, it could be quite a few, since unlike her, the girl across from her tended to be a bit more reserved and quiet about her hook ups with people. When Rose finally answered, Victoire had to congratulate herself on not letting her jaw drop. Surprised was a mild way of putting her feelings, and she just stared at Rose in shock. The redhead's plea to keep quiet broke through her thoughts and had her shaking her head. "No, of course I'm not going to say anything," her tone wasn't as snippy as she would have imagined it would be, and instead she offered Rose a reassuring grin, "But wow, Malfoy? Rosie, you are playing a dangerous game with fire!" The end of her words were followed by a quick laugh as she nudged Rose's shoulder with her own.

The young Weasley was actually surprised to hear the words come from her own mouth. She, Rose Camille Weasley, was secretly hooking up with Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. She, the very Rose Weasley that had never been in a real, true relationship before. It was blasphemy, it was the scandal of the year! After all, this was the only son of the one her very father called his own enemy, for Merlin's sake!
Her cousin's words didn't help her quite too much when it came to comfort. In fact, the only sort of reaction that the blonde was able to get out of her cousin was an ill-looking grin that seemed to be forced from her.
You have no idea,
she grumbled under her breath, turning her slightly narrowed hazel eyes to the floor. You're actually the first one to figure anything out. The young Gryffindor lady laid back against the bed with a huff, the bed creaking at the sudden rough movement that she had made. Uggh. Victoire, what do I do?! she whined, just missing the numerous annoyed looks that the matron healers and other patients in the room shot at the two Weasleys. I mean... I like... kissing him, I guess... Rose made a face that was a mixture of guilt, self-disgust, and... was that also a hint of... pleasure on her features? Was she currently thinking of the feeling of his lips working against hers, the feeling of her fingers running through his blonde hair, just the thought of them hiding out together after classes were over with for the day? Were these the thoughts that were currently running through her head, instead of books, schoolwork, and class information that usually did? Actually... Yes. Yes she was, if she was completely honest. The ginger-haired student let out a happy sigh, almost dream-like, as she started to get lost in thought. That was when she remembered, however, that she was in the company of one of her cousins. Quick to hide her face again with her hands in embarrassment, Rose gave a light huff. We're friends, Victoire... And then... He, uh, well... h-he said that he... lo- I mean... She groaned about a notch louder than she should have, for it drew attention from the other current occupants of the Hospital Wing. The attention wasn't positive, either, on an unfortunate note for them. He said that he... loved me. She winced at the 'l' word, the one she hated and dreaded at the same time, as if it physically pained her. Her voice was lowered to almost a whisper, and she still looked at the palms of her hands. Rose refused to meet her blonde cousins' gaze. After all, it was a bit of an awkward situation for her. Possibly even for the both of them. It was like watching a change in Rose's emotions play across the redhead's face, and Victoire took a couple of minutes to study her cousins before doing anything else. Reaching out, she smoothed a stray piece of hair back from her face before smiling encouragingly. She knew that the words that had tumbled from her mouth probably weren't the most encouraging, but that was the best she could offer at the moment. She'd never been in Rose's situation, so she wasn't entirely sure how to best go about giving advice.
Shifting so that she was now facing Rose completely, Victoire tucked one of her legs underneath her as she let the other swing back and forth off the edge of the bed. She knew that Rose and Scorpius were friends, but she didn't actually have any idea that they were more than that. If this wasn't handled carefully, she knew that with the many family present at the school, the news that Rose's new snog buddy was a Malfoy would get back to her uncle quickly, and most likely quite inaccurate. That was the last thing Rose really needed, and Victoire sighed at her cousin's words. "Sorry, love. You know me, I don't always tend to think everything through before saying it." she said before letting her lips curl into a playful smirk, "And that would be because I'm good at figuring stuff out."
Watching the expressions play over Rose's face once more, Victoire raised her hand to her mouth to cover the laugh that slipped passed her lips with a cough. Now wasn't the time to tell the ginger, but she found Rose's whine amusing. Keeping her thoughts to herself was probably the best idea unless she wanted more than a broken arm, so Victoire simply looked over at Rose as the other girl ranted. "Well. What do you want to do? I mean, you like him right?" she asked, absentmindedly playing with the edge of the hospital cot. She couldn't really offer any advice, seeing as she didn't have any, so she just focused on Rose's thoughts and the direction that they seemed to be going in.
The last thing that had come tumbling out of Rose's mouth was the last thing Victoire expected to hear. She sat starting at her, mostly in shock, as Rose kept her focus firmly on her hands. She didn't say anything for a few minutes before finally letting out a soft "Oh," though her tone was surprised. "He, uh. Wow." was all she could come up with for the next few minutes, still looking at Rose. She knew about the redhead's fear of love, and had to wonder how she had felt, or if she had returned the words. Instead of pushing it, though, Victoire bit her lip between her teeth and watched Rose silently.

She gritted her teeth tightly against one another, finally removing her hands away from in front of her face. The bright ginger-haired girl slowly forced herself to sit up, crossing her legs under herself as she turned her body to face her cousin. Rose looked down at her lap, absent-mindedly rubbing her fingers along the rough edges of the numerous pages, stacked one atop the other, that the binding held together.
The whole scenario that had started this never-ending war of emotions that went on inside of Rose went through her head again. She and Scorpius were out by the pond that night, having a nice civil chat about their families and their summer breaks. And then a shooting star had passed by overhead. She had, of course, closed her eyes to wish upon it, as she always did. Then he had kissed her... which lead to her kissing him back... and then that damn 'l' word was said. And then there were a few more kisses between them, and confessions, and talks. It had been a nice night, it truly had been, and it led up to now, with Rose having a sick feeling in the bottom of her stomach every time she thought of how her father would react if he found out, but still going along for the ride none-the-less.
The young Gryffindor looked up at Victoire with confusion bright in her hazel eyes. She searched for an answer within the blonde, as if staring at her cousin would do her any good. She let out a small groan again, nervously running her fingers through her almost-orange hair as she awaited the other girl's reaction.
Her brows knit together tightly as she thought of some way to reply. What did she want to do with the whole situation? Sure, her and Scorpius could be together, but what good was that if she wouldn't be allowed to fall in love with him anyways? Her father wouldn't allow it, and his wouldn't either - at least, she assumed so. That was for sure. Would anyone else? She frowned to herself as she thought.
I... I don't know what I'm going to do,
she finally spoke up, looking back down at the worn book that was rested in her lap. I mean... I just... I can't be with him... Not while he's a Malfoy and I'm a Weasley. She blinked after a moment or two of silence, looking back up at her cousin. Something seemed to dawn upon the young girl's features all of a sudden, as if a new thought had clicked in her mind. Can I? Rose bit her bottom lip again, wrapping her arms around her stomach tightly and leaning forward and huddling over her lap. Thinking about all of this all at once - and actually telling all of it to someone - was making her begin to feel sick. Her father was going to hear about the entire situation soon, she could feel it, and she wouldn't be able to see him anymore. Victoire... I can't, she muttered. I have... feelings... for him, yeah... But Daddy wouldn't let me see him anymore if he found out. I don't want him mad at me. She frowned, looking back up at her blonde cousin with wide eyes. Rose seemed to be content to sit in silence for a bit, and Victoire let her. She had stopped chewing on her lip a couple minutes ago, and now she simply sat with her hands tucked into her lap. One hand gripping the other, and rubbing circles across her own skin without paying much attention to her actions. The sounds of the students and staff around them seemed to be amplified in their silence, and Victoire suppressed a sigh. Quiet had never been a thing she was fond of, preferring to have a conversation going, or at least singing so that something filled the big spot of nothing. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched Rose play with the pages of the book sitting in her lap, avoiding eye contact with her.
At least she had taken her hands away from her face. From her spot next to the ginger, Victoire could almost swear she could feel the heat radiating from her; before she could stop herself, she let out a sigh and rolled her neck on her shoulders. She wasn't getting annoyed with Rose or anything, of course not, but she wasn't used to sitting in silence and not do anything. Sure, she could handle the noiseless atmosphere if she was doing homework or in the middle of a test, but just sitting in silence wasn't something she was used to.
When Rose looked up at her with confusion reflected in her eyes, Victoire knew what the other girl was thinking about: the biggest thing this would come down to - their parents. But she didn't say anything, instead letting the ginger bring up her troubles first. Though many thought of her as the type to gossip and not pay attention to anyone but herself, Victoire knew when to just let people say what they want when they were ready. No pushing or prodding would get it out of them faster.
"Rose," she started off quietly once Rose started talking, pausing only to let her finish her thoughts. "Rose," she continued, "you're seventeen, darling. I know there's a lot of bad blood between the Weasley's and Malfoy's, but it's a feud that should have been put behind us after the war." Her words sounded strong, though Victoire didn't quite know if her words her helpful or not.
Reaching up, she tucked a strand of bright orange hair behind Rose's ear before continuing, "This is something more than who your parents are; it's about you two. If you like him, and he likes you, that's all that should matter. Your dad's will just have to get over themselves and be happy for you." For someone who didn't have much experience in serious relationships, Victoire was beginning to think that her advice was pretty strong and on the right track. Even though she had promised not to tell anyone, the blonde knew that she would probably be telling Teddy about this at some point, if only to ask if she had said and done the right things.
"Just...just do what feels right. Don't let other's influence you, do what's right for both of you."

The girl with the bright ginger hair bit her lip as she listened to Victoire give her opinion. She made it sound so... so easy to just go against her father's wishes and simply fall in love with the very boy her father had warned her of. No, no, no, absolutely not. That was what her mind kept telling her, at least. And, forever being the daughter of Hermione Weasley, she was tempted to give into what her brain said.
Sighing, she sat up, running a hand through her bright-colored hair. It was beginning to actually smooth down a small bit, now easily slipping through her fingers like orange-red velvet. Rose simply sat there, enveloped in the silence that circled around Victoire and herself. The girl normally hated silence. In fact, true silence was one of the things that she actually feared. Much like her father's phobia of arachnids, she was frightened by silence. Odd enough as it was, it was part of her.
Victoire... I don't know why you think it can just be that easy, she muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose between her thumb and her forefinger with a sigh. I just... I can't just tell my father that I don't want to listen to him anymore. I can't have him disappointed in me. I just... I can't. I just can't.
She frowned to herself, taking a deep breath and standing slowly, composing herself once more. I'm sorry about that meltdown there, she breathed, picking up her book. Victoire, I came here because you were in here. Now, are you feeling alright? Is there anything I can get you?[/blockquote][/blockquote] words --- 300 tagged --- Victorie, open. outfit --- Gryffindor uniform. template --- PANIC!
