PERSONALITY:
Zach comes from a "fun" family--everyone's a comedian, and he's no exception. He prides himself in his sense of humor and often exercises it. Despite this, he knows when to call it quits and be serious, and he's very good about keeping sarcasm and jokes to himself when people may not want to hear it. He also prides himself in his memory, able to read directions, repeat them to himself once, and know the potion or spell (or whatever) by heart from then on. He's also kind, and willing to offer help anywhere it may be needed, or offer a friend when you're feeling lonely.
On the downside, Zach loses his focus easily and can go from hard studying to goofing on in a heartbeat, and act as if he wasn't doing anything of any importance whatsoever. The other end of this is that he can fall into daydreams quickly and easily as well, and it's harder to redirect his focus when he's daydreaming. Although he can be distracted easily, he prefers studying over hanging with friends, and will deny any plans said friends propose in favor of learning a handful of new things to practice. Well, it all started when Zach was born. This happened on September 4, some year like 1993 or something. His parents owned a magical book store so he grew up pretty normally, always knowing magic was real and everything.
However, when he was around ten, his parents decided to move their business far away and sent him to live with his aunt, uncle, and cousin. So he was there when both he and his cousin received their acceptance letters into Hogwarts. Both were very excited to go.
Zach's first years of school were pretty normal, filled with studying and goofing off. One day, though, he decided he wanted to be serious about his education, so he gave up playing around in favor of getting the best grades possible.
