Unlike his cousin, Eddy isn't a good judge of when to be serious--in fact, he's probably never been serious in his life. It makes him uncomfortable. Despite his habits to take things too far and to be a goof-off at any opportunity, he's rather nice and will treat anyone kindly (unless given a reason not to).

HISTORY:
Eddy grew up pretty normally, except for when everything started becoming a joke for him. His humor was never cruel, just... constant. When his cousin moved in, he seemed to get a little more serious for a while.
When they went to Hogwarts, Eddy became the class clown, and did everything in his power to make everything funny, but shied away from awkward or serious situations. He never dated, leading to some suspicions from his family, though he showed some attraction to the girls of his class--he just believed dating and being romantic would be too serious.
