PERSONALITY:
Darby isn't your typical teenage girl. She's never been one to wear heavy makeup or pretty dresses. Since she can remember, she's always been the kind of girl who could get her hands dirty, who didn't mind bumps and bruises. She's just one of the guys. She doesn't understand girls, with their constant need to impress everyone and spread rumors. Instead, she spends her time making crude jokes, taking shots of firewhiskey, and playing Quidditch.
While most people bite their tongues and suppress their feelings, Darby is outspoken and slightly uncouth. If she has an opinion, she expresses it, which can sometimes lead to heated arguments or (in the case it's with a professor) detention. She often has trouble accepting defeat, even if it's staring her in the face, due to her intensely stubborn nature. Once Darby has drawn a conclusion about something or someone, it is nearly impossible to change her mind.
Darby is extremely impatient and prefers instant gratifaction. She does not always rationalize before she does something, and so she tends to perform some crazy tasks. She will often pull off some keen, yet highly dangerous stunts while on her broom, and has consequently spent a good amount of time in the hospital wing for it. No matter how many times she falls down though, she always manages to get back up, but never seems to manage to think before she acts. If an idea comes to mind, Darby will probably experiment with it, without any regard for the risks or the rules.
No matter how impulsive or uncouth she may be, Darby is very passionate about those she cares about and what she does. If anyone hurts her little sisters, she will arrange for someone to get pushed down a flight of changing stairs. If someone is to mess with her friends, someone is likely to receive a quaffle to the head. Darby has endless determination and can do nearly anything with enough effort. If she sets her mind to it, she will master it. She's very versatile, sort of a jack-of-all-trades. She is very talent with both Quidditch and dueling.

HISTORY:
Oliver and Katie had always been close. As captain, Oliver would always pick on Katie. They were friends, that was all. Just good friends. Oliver thought Katie was cute, but he never really mentioned it to her. No need to make things awkward for the team, right? Had he known she fancied him... hell, he would have kissed her. Right after a match, he would have just walked up to her and kissed her right on the lips. But he didn't know, so he never did. The last day of his seventh year (her fourth), his words to her were, "I hope this isn't the last time I see you." He didn't really think twice about it. It was just a polite thing to say. Katie never gave a thought to it. She figured she wouldn't really being seeing him again.
The Second Wizarding War was coming to an end, and those loyal to Harry Potter were being called from all over to fight at the Battle of Hogwarts. Katie still had that enchanted coin she had used while in Dumbledore's Army, even a year after she had graduated from Hogwarts. She never really looked at it. It just sat in purse usually. That day, though, she chose to take it out and look at it. She had no motivation to do so, but she was glad she did. Had she not, she would have never fought at the Battle of Hogwarts, never reunited with Wood, never would have bore three children. But she did. And that's exactly what happened.
Oliver and Katie began dating shortly after the Battle of Hogwarts. They were married three years later, and had their first child the following year. They named her Darby. She showed a stronger resemblence to her father, and tended to act more like him as well. No more than a year later, Darby had two little sister (twins!), and the Wood family was settled down and happy. They lived in Dorchester, which happened to be very close to the Quidditch pitch for Puddlemere United, where Oliver was a keeper. Katie was a stay at home mother while the girls were young, teaching them all the basics, and then some. She taught her daughters how to fly when she felt they were ready. Darby caught on exceptionally quick, and the family would often play small games of Quiddiitch. When Darby turned nine, she received her first broomstick for her birthday. Two years later, she was greeted with her Hogwarts letter.
Darby was sorted into Gryffindor, which she was very proud of. However, she was not pleased when she discovered that first years couldn't be on the Quidditch team. After constantly complaining, she finally gave up the fight to be on the team and began making friends. Her first friend was James Potter, whom she vaguely knew, since her father and his father kept in touch. They grew from acquaintences to best mates quickly, along with Finnigan, Longbottom, and McLaggen (who was a year older than the rest of them). The five of them were known for getting into a little trouble now and then. They made a name for themselves at Hogwarts, and over the years became more and more troublesome, from her first year when they would pull pranks in the common room to her fifth year when they started smuggling in firewhiskey and partying after hours. In her second year, she joined the Gryffindor Quidditch team and did an excellent job as a chaser, much like her mother. She is now working very hard to achieve co-captain, making her capatain next year when Blaine graduates.

SAMPLE POST:
Letting out a sigh, Jesse prepared himself for the more serious conversation. This was the part he was dreading. He had so much to ask her, and she knew exactly what was on his mind. He could tell by the tone in her voice. He feared that after all the effort he had put into this, into them, Rachel wasn't interested in him. He was afraid that any spark between them had ended the moment the eggs cracked over her head. He was afraid that he wouldn't get to kiss the lips he'd been dreaming of again. But she was there, wasn't she? Not only did she not ignore his text, but she agreed to meet him. That had to count for something, right? And the way her cheeks turned red when he spoke, the way she was staring at him, the way her voice sounded when she spoke, it all pointed in Jesse's favor. Maybe he wasn't hopeless. Maybe there was something left to spark. There had to be.
"We're made for eachother," he whispered again, more quietly this time, his eyes still set on her. With the thick silence surrounding them, he was sure Rachel heard it. He winced for a moment and shook his head. "I need to clear the air, Rachel. Our duet, prom, that kiss in the auditorium; they were all seemingly perfect until you figure in Finn. I thought there was something going for us, something genuine. I flew up to New York to tell you... that I love you, Rachel. I flew up there to let you know that I'm not going anywhere. And I looked on stage, and you were gorgeous. Your talent was endless. If Nationals had been up to you, New Directions would have placed first, but..." he paused as the waitress approached them with the breadsticks. He leaned forward, elbows on the table, hands clasped in front of his face. He nodded to acknowledge her, but his eyes never left Rachel.
The waitress scurried off and he continued, "That kiss threw me off. I haven't spoken to you since after your performance, and that's partially my fault for avoiding you. But... I need to know what you think of me, Rachel. I need to know if I'm wasting my time." Jesse couldn't remember a time where he had ever poured his heart out like that to anyone. The last time he had ever opened up to someone like that was with Shelby, and it was about Rachel. It was about how he didn't want her to get hurt. He watched Rachel's reaction silently, hardly blinking and never breaking concentration. Jesse had two goals in life: Broadway and Rachel Berry. If he couldn't have her, he needed to know how much he needed to bust his ass to get famous.
